Staci obtained a degree in Risk Management & Insurance from The Ohio State University in 2004. In early 2005 she started working for Oswald Tripp & Co., Inc and quickly gained her insurance license. Thirsty for knowledge regarding insurance she quickly gained her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and attended the Hartford Producer School and National Alliance Producer School. During this time, Staci focused on the numbers aspect of insurance and learned how to develop Experience Modification factors and understand how premium exposures are developed. However, Staci Merchant is a true entrepreneur and believes in small businesses. So she and her mother started Merchant Insurance Solutions to show small businesses how to protect their business or association while also managing their bottom line.

Staci Merchant was Miami Young Agents Committee President in 2011-2012 and was awarded MCIM “Rookie of the Year” in 2008.
